Cindy Madison Jewelry was the brainchild of Fletcher Blackburn, a jewelry designer and fine jewelry wholesaler specializing in high end designer jewelry, diamonds and fine watches.

With the help of his wife, Cindy, Fletcher decided to delve into the world of fashion jewelry.

“We wanted to make great jewelry design and quality available to everyone. When I saw the price of gold reach $2000 it really got me thinking. Before even beginning to make a small piece of jewelry, the cost was already in the hundreds of dollars in gold alone”, remarks Fletcher.

Fletcher’s wife Cindy is a 4^th grade teacher and she knows what it’s like to have a very active day, moving around the classroom and schoolyard, as well as chasing after a 5 and 2 year old at home.

“With the amount of activity I do, I prefer to wear inexpensive jewelry on a day to day basis. Besides my engagement ring, I don’t wear high end pieces every day. I prefer to have dozens of beautiful pieces to choose from that I can easily match up with whatever I’m wearing. With the whole Covid situation, we go out less and the expensive pieces mostly gather dust”, remarks Cindy.

Fletcher & Cindy also love that they can bring more updated designs to their customers without the price being a barrier. When a piece of jewelry is $30 to $40, our customers can experiment with different looks and really get creative with their style without worrying about breaking the bank.

While most designs are in 925 silver, some are made in brass with a heavy 18k gold vermeil, which is essentially a thick layer of gold covering the surface of the piece so you get that beautiful gold tone. The 18k vermeil also prevents the jewelry from oxidation and is hypoallergenic for most people.
